Due to immediate access to our complete research archive and ongoing publications, subscription refunds are limited.

2.1 General Refund Policy

No Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. When you subscribe, you gain immediate access to our complete research archive and platform, which constitutes delivery of the service.

2.2 Limited Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: Complete inability to access the platform due to technical failures on our end for more than 48 hours
  • Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts due to system errors
  • Unauthorized Charges: Charges made without authorization (subject to verification)
  • Service Unavailability: We discontinue service permanently within 30 days of your subscription start

2.3 What Is Not Refundable

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind after subscribing or accessing content
  • Disagreement with research conclusions or analysis
  • Dissatisfaction with research quality or coverage
  • Unused portions of subscription periods
  • Failure to cancel before automatic renewal
  • Minor technical issues or temporary service interruptions
  • Content shared with third parties in violation of terms

2.4 Request Timeline

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge date and within 48 hours of discovering billing errors or unauthorized charges.

3. Discretionary Refunds

CoreBrief may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds outside the standard policy terms based on individual circumstances. Such decisions are not precedential and do not create any obligation for future similar situations.

We will review refund requests promptly and notify you of our decision via email. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method as soon as reasonably possible, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your payment provider.

4.3 Refund Methods

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the subscription. Alternative refund methods may be arranged for exceptional circumstances.

5. Institutional Client Considerations

For institutional and enterprise clients with custom agreements:

  • Custom refund terms may be negotiated as part of enterprise subscription agreements
  • Annual subscription refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
  • Service level agreements may include specific remedies for platform failures
